Process Engineer
who is excited about working on projects in the Pulp and Paper Industry. You'll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to establish a process design basis, develop an optimized process, create calculations, and generate process drawings. Your role keeps our company connected, and we'll support you with what you need to be successful. This position will: Perform conceptual and detailed designs for Pulp and Paper Technologies Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully-coordinated projects Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks. Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others Mentor junior engineers on basic engineering applications and principals Participate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work Bring your curiosity, talent for multi-tasking and collaboration, and extreme organizational skills, and we'll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives you - so we can make big impacts on the world together. Here's what you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Paper Science, or Mechanical Engineering At least 10 years of experience in engineering design is preferred Minimum 5+ years of experience in engineering design as a facilities/plant engineer or as a consulting engineer Ideally, you'll also have: Strong communication skills both verbal and written Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contributing with innovative ideas Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base Work independently for core tasks and reach out for specialized expertise Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams Passion for engineering Willingness to travel 70% of the time to client site.
