Loan Servicing Specialist I

The Loan Servicing Specialist I is responsible for processing all loan servicing requests for consumer and home equity loans, managing regulatory reporting to ensure loans report accurately, and handling large volumes of requests via queue and phone from our members and internal partners. Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Process all Loan Servicing requests for consumer and real estate loans in an accurate and timely manner. Handle large volume of inquiry calls and all requests to the Loan Servicing Inquiries queue from our members and internal partners. Monitor and process GAP and Extended Warranty claims, cancellations, and reporting for the credit union. Scan in Insurance documentation to third party vendor to ensure collateral protection insurance is averted for the member. Manage regulatory reporting to ensure loans are reporting accurately and without error. Pull reports using Fiserv DNA, Loans PQ, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, etc. Participate in all required training and adhere to written policies and procedures of the credit union. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Educational And Work Experience Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required, associate's degree or recent work experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years of loan servicing experience. Knowledge of deposit and loan products & services. Ability to operate loan processing system, computer, calculator, telephone and other equipment as needed. Knowledge of software/computer systems required to complete job duties
DocuSign, Fiserv DNA, Nautilus, Word, Excel etc. Competence with use of the Internet and Credit Union Intranet. Additional/ Important Skillsets:

To perform this job successfully, the employee must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. All employees must be able to communicate face to face or through technology with or without reasonable accommodation. Employee will be in an office environment (well-lighted, heated, and air-conditioned) typically stationed at a desk or table. Employee will be asked to sit and stand for various increments of time, and to lift/push up 10 lbs. Clerical office duties on various forms of technology are required.
