The
People and Culture Generalist
is an essential member of the People and Culture team dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our employees. The People and Culture Generalist assists with general employee and applicant inquiries, and assists with a variety of employee events, housing, benefits administration and employee initiatives in addition to other administrative duties. Serve as the first point of contact for all employee and applicant inquiries, delivering warm, professional support that reflects the Four Seasons experience Provide essential administrative and operational support to the People & Culture team, ensuring smooth day-to-day department functioning Maintain and update employee records in Workday, assisting team members with navigation and troubleshooting. Support the full-cycle recruitment process, from applicant communication to onboarding coordination. Plan and help execute employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs, including celebrations, events, and supply drives. Contribute to the coordination of learning programs by preparing materials, managing attendance, and supporting internal communication Ensure timely and accurate internal communications across platforms like Viva Engage and Employee TVs Manage office inventory, purchase orders, and employee gestures such as birthday cards, farewell gifts, and wellness acknowledgments Uphold strict confidentiality and compliance standards in all People & Culture operations Embody and promote Four Seasons' service philosophy, fostering a culture of care, inclusion, and excellence Prior Human Resources experience preferred, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort. Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Powerpoint preferred/is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
