Bilingual Shipping And Receiving Associate

Shift/hours: Monday - Friday; (First Shift) 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM (Overtime available between September 15th and December 15th) Pay rate: $21-23/hr Location: Jessup, MD Our client in Jessup, MD is looking for a full-time shipping and receiving associate to help in the warehouse! They are a logistics company looking for longevity employees to join their team. Shipping and receiving associate responsibilities include: Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments. Prepare, package, and label outbound shipments in accordance with company and carrier requirements. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Verify incoming and outgoing materials against purchase orders, invoices, or other records. Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods. Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and inventory audits. Update inventory tracking systems (manual or digital) to reflect accurate stock levels. Communicate with logistics, accounting, and other internal departments to coordinate shipments and resolve discrepancies. Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area. Adhere to safety protocols and warehouse procedures at all times. Shipping and associate coordinator requirements include: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid forklift operator certification. 2 - 4 years of experience in shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations. Proficient with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment. Ability to work with computers processing warehouse transactions Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
