Environmental Project Manager

The Environmental Project Manager will support the design and management of environmental remedial system installations, permitting, and operations and maintenance. This role involves managing various environmental projects including LUST, SWPP, and overseeing ESAs and remediation projects. The manager will also oversee soil, soil gas, and groundwater assessments, conduct feasibility studies, develop remedial action plans, design and operate remediation systems, and prepare SWPP plans. Understanding Part 201 and 213 regulations is essential. The role requires handling multiple projects, writing and reviewing technical reports, client-facing interactions, QA/QC responsibilities, and mentoring junior staff. There is a preference for someone who can act as a 'Seller/Doer'. Responsibilities: Support design and management of environmental remedial systems installation, permitting, and operations & maintenance. Manage various environmental projects including LUST and SWPP. Oversee ESAs and remediation projects. Conduct soil, soil gas, and groundwater assessments. Perform feasibility studies and develop remedial action plans. Design and operate remediation systems. Prepare SWPP plans and understand Part 201 and 213 regulations. Handle multiple projects simultaneously. Write and review technical reports. Client-facing responsibilities and QA/QC duties. Mentor junior staff members. Essential Skills: Bachelor's degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology. 5+ years of experience as an Environmental Engineer or Scientist. 1+ year of Project Management experience. Experience with Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I/II). Experience with LUST Part 213 regulations. SWPP plan experience. Technical report writing skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of Project Management experience. Professional Engineer (PE) experience. Asbestos Inspection certification. History of developing new and existing clients using the Seller/Doer business model. Work Environment: The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 40-45 hours per week in a very casual work environment. The role involves 75% in-office work and 25% field work. Preferably in-office, but a 1-2 day hybrid schedule may be accommodated. The company offers flexible work hours dictated by specific projects, typically between 7am-8:30am start times, with work hours ranging from 8-9 hours per day. The office hours are typically from 8am-5pm, with flexibility for early or late start times due to commute or family obligations. A stock plan for employees is being set up and expected to activate by the end of the year. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
