Get to Know Your Team: BSA provides 24-hour paramedic care through our ambulance service, which responds to emergencies in Canyon and 825 square miles of Randall County. BSA EMS staffs two stations 24/7/365, one in northern Randall County and one in Canyon. Responsibilities
The Advanced EMT responsible for providing emergency care and transportation of the sick and injured in accordance with established Baptist St. Anthony's Health System Policies, Department Guidelines and Patient Care Protocols. Safely operates emergency vehicles in compliance with all laws, Baptist St. Anthony's Policies and Department Guidelines. Accepts other tasks assigned by the Shift Commander, Emergency Medical Services Division Supervisor or Paramedicine Services Director. Qualifications
Job Requirements: High School (or GED equivalent) diploma. Certification as an Advanced EMT by the Texas Department of State Health Services. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider or equivalent completion. Valid minimum Class C Texas Driver License with restriction "A" permissible. Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHLTS) completion within 180 days of employment. Completion of the following Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency National Incident Management System (NIMS) courses: IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800. Preferred Job Requirements: Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS). 9-1-1 field experience. National Registry.
