Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for both mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair throughout the facility. This role involves monitoring, repairing, and adjusting various manufacturing equipment and systems, including hydraulic thermoforming presses, ovens, robotic waterjets, 3-phase motors, and Siemens PLCs & HMIs. This multi-craft industrial maintenance position encompasses mechanical, electrical, and controls work, including plugging into a laptop for troubleshooting programs and drives. While PLC programming is not required, it is considered a plus. The facility manufactures sound-deadening interior parts for the automotive industry and operates at a fast pace. Responsibilities
Perform manufacturing-related equipment preventive maintenance (PMs). Safely troubleshoot live electrical panels. Participate in problem-solving groups and lean manufacturing activities. Contribute to the maintenance department's efforts to achieve key measures. Continuously learn to support various processes such as thermal forming, adhesive, molding, Isocyanate foam, high-pressure water, and assembly processes. Operate powered industrial trucks, aerial lifts, and cranes. Edit and modify control programs on programmable devices such as A-B, SLC-500, Control Logics, Panel View, and Panelview Plus. Essential Skills
3+ years of experience in a maintenance department within a manufacturing environment. 3+ years of experience working with and maintaining automated machinery. Strong mechanical experience. Ability to use basic machining tools, powered hand tools, and other maintenance-related equipment. Ability to read machine drawings and control schematics. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Automotive experience is a plus. Willingness to work overtime as needed and work any production shift. Robot and robotic control experience is a plus (Fanuc, Motoman, ABB). Electrical journeyman card is a plus. Experience working with a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) system is a plus. Experience with smart cameras (e.g., Keyence, Cognex) is a plus. Why Work Here?

The facility manufactures interior sound-deadening materials for the automotive industry, operating in a fast-paced and deadline-sensitive environment typical of the automotive sector. The plant spans close to 300,000 square feet, currently working 50 hours a week, with most Saturdays required until fully staffed. Some Sundays will also be worked, with double time compensation offered. Available shifts include: 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM (with a $2/hr premium), and 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM (with a $1.25/hr premium).
