Maintenance Technician Auburn Hills, MI 2nd Shift

to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI. This 2nd shift opportunity plays a key role in supporting operational goals by conducting preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment. The ideal
Maintenance Technician
will have a strong background in automotive or manufacturing environments and enjoy working in a collaborative, team-based setting.
Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment including presses, motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, robots, and more Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Maintain and update maintenance records in support of operational goals Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics Ensure equipment is running efficiently and safely
Qualifications: HS diploma or GED required; advanced technical training in electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLCs preferred 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred) USDOL Journeyman certificate preferred Familiarity with vision inspection systems a plus Experience with Fanuc and/or ABB Robotics a plus Siemens Controls Step 5 / Step 7 knowledge a plus
Key Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting PLCs and robotic programming Strong problem-solving skills, especially in resolving machine malfunctions and quality issues Ability to follow standardized work instructions Capable of working independently and within a team-based environment
