Production Worker I
The Production Worker I is primarily responsible for supporting production, warehouse operations, shipping, and maintenance of buildings and grounds. This role plays a vital part in the daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. Responsibilities
Transfer production orders in accordance with standard operating procedures. Package and ship customer orders on a daily basis. Load and unload trucks, pick orders, pack, strap, label, ship, and receive items. Locate items within the warehouse and move materials both inside and outside. Clean and maintain designated work areas and dispose of waste appropriately. Perform preventive maintenance on various equipment. Operate machinery such as forklifts, mixers, pumps, lawn mowers, and snow blowers. Engage in landscaping and building maintenance as required. Adhere to all standard operating procedures. Complete tasks assigned by the Warehouse and Production Manager, managing priorities and deadlines. Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED. 2 years of experience in hands-on physical labor in a production or service role. Experience in general warehouse operations and stable employment history. 1+ year of forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications
