Conference Assistant
The Conference Assistant provides administrative and logistical support for continuing medical education conferences and events. Responsibilities include communicating with faculty, exhibitors, and participants; arranging travel and lodging for speakers; preparing conference materials; and supporting on-site registration. The role also involves maintaining and updating tracking systems, generating certificates and reports, coordinating with internal departments on registration logistics, and ensuring all accreditation and planning deadlines are met. Additional duties include assisting with promotional materials, managing vendor databases, updating conference websites, and supporting survey development and evaluation efforts. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Associate's degree or equivalent experience and one to three years related administrative support experience required. Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills are essential as well as a proven history exhibiting attention to detail required. Proficiency with Microsoft applications is required. Ability to word process at speed of 40 wpm required. Desirable Qualifications Proficiency with Basecamp or similar project management applications highly desirable. Previous conference or event experience desirable.
