Job Title: Director, Media & Strategic Development The publicity department develops and implements comprehensive media campaigns for Warner Records roster of superstar and developing artists. The Director will work alongside senior publicists in overseeing national and regional press campaigns. Your role: To work with the PR Department to maximize press exposure for Warner Records artists on a national platform. Here you'll get to: Devise and execute national and regional media campaigns from inception to completion via multi-layered campaigns tailored to each artists needs as they shift and evolve from each successive album cycle Oversee creation and dissemination of key press assets including press releases, artist bios, media alerts, quote sheets, press photos, reports and highlights Pitch and coordinate artist press including in person interviews/performances, red carpet appearances, TV performances, phones and more Liaise with media, managers, partners and internal departments including marketing, promotion, digital, creative, commerce, international, etc. Serve as a high-energy and professional PR liaison About you: Excellent organizational, communication and writing skills. The ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced working environment. 5 years music or entertainment PR experience preferred. Maintain composure in stressful situations. Possess strategic negotiating skills. Be a team player. Be a self-starter and work well in a fast-paced environment. Be result-driven. Must be innovative, knowledgeable of WR artist roster, musical culture, and heritage - think out of the box. We'd love it if you also had: Knowledge of Google Workspace, Microsoft Suite, Adobe Photo Shop, Cision, Burrelle's, Filemaker Pro, FTP, and Social Media. College Degree Preferred. We believe that an in-office presence is critical for talent development, collaboration and building strong relationships. Salary Range $120,000 to $130,000 Annually.
