You will provide on-site technical and operational support in the installation, operation, and maintenance of an Active Directory, windows-based environment. Performing system hardware integration, preventive maintenance, implementation, and peripheral equipment site support of special purpose computer-based client systems and equipment. You will also troubleshoot complex hardware and software malfunctions and implement solutions. Superior interpersonal skills required for daily interface with customer management, technical, and operator personnel. Other job duties include: providing assistance in resolution of user questions/problems with regard to installed systems and equipment; corrective and preventative maintenance support to identify and correct performance, and implementation failures, faults, or defaults that impair system/equipment performance and functionality; coordination of warranty work, troubleshooting, and emergency repairs to effect immediate corrections so that OPWAN operations are not interrupted; preventative maintenance to adjust, maintain, or otherwise improve performance or enhance the overall maintainability of systems/equipment; risk analysis to identify potential problems, systems/equipment modification and/or correction. The position requires an individual that can perform prompt, efficient, and professional support to users for their assigned sites; can track and report on the status of work; is able to provide front-line troubleshooting; and is able to utilize a background of experience to resolve issues. Staff in this labor category should possess strong customer service skills, be able to articulate (written and verbally) the problems/issues at their site, and articulate solutions to management. Required Education, Experience, & Skills

At a minimum, the individual shall have five (5) years' experience in monitoring, managing, and administering, implementing Windows-based servers and systems in a production environment. At a minimum, the Systems Administrator shall have demonstrated experience in Systems/Equipment installation, configuration, implementation, and validation of installation of components: Components include but are not limited to: Microsoft (current Version) Hyper-V Manager, mass storage arrays and servers, Dell OpenManage essentials, utilize scripting languages, mainly but not limited to PowerShell, to automate tedious, repetitive, and/or error prone tasks related to installation, configuration, and management of IT systems and services. Installation and management of systems via hypervisors and virtualization sub systems, support a variety of networking, storage, virtualization, and other components that may span across multi-generational deployments. Evaluate effectiveness of existing technologies on site, and considering emerging technologies, add, configure, and manage Roles and Features on Microsoft Server (current Version) including but not limited to: File and Storage Services, Print and Document Services, Remote Desktop Services, Windows Server Update Services, Failover Clustering, managing tape backup server, tape backup library, and tape workstations used to archive user data and perform system backups, refilling the inventory of blank tapes, managing other than normal operations, and identifying and correcting unexpected situations. Remote Server Administration Tools, Windows PowerShell, configure and monitor systems/servers utilizing Windows Admin Center, configure and monitor systems/servers utilizing Failover Cluster Manager tools, configure and monitor systems/servers utilizing Remote Server Administrative Tools (RSAT), configure and monitor systems/servers utilizing SQL Server Management Tools, recognizing failed hardware such as hard drives, power supplies, components, or entire servers, following detailed instructions to identify, troubleshoot, and replace faulty equipment, completing Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Checklists and other reports as assigned. Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

BS degree with an emphasis in Information Systems/Computer Science with 4 years of related experience. High speed ethernet, fiber, router, and firewall experience. Enterprise Storage administration experience. Failover clustering experience. Hyper-V administration experience. Experience with SAN/DAS/NAS configurations and administration is preferable. Hyper-V experience and firewall configuration are highly desirable. Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680. Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
