Senior Analyst Strategic Partners

The Strategic Partners team within LPL's Wealth Management group is responsible for delivering a streamlined and high-quality experience for asset management partners. Those responsibilities include offering comprehensive product partnerships, advisor access to solutions, and promotional activities. Our team's goal is to ensure that LPL, in partnership with asset managers, facilitates advisor access to a broad array of solutions and to help those asset managers to grow at LPL, while helping to improve our firms' economic and risk profiles. This Senior Analyst Strategic Partners role will primarily focus on engaging asset managers in new partnership opportunities, liaising with existing partners and the Strategic Partners Relationship Management team, and helping to drive data-driven insights into LPL's partnership programs. The successful candidate will need experience with investments and advisory platforms, will need to think strategically, and drive tactical execution. Responsibilities: Support business-to-business interactions between LPL Financial and asset managers, including mutual fund, ETF, annuities, and alternatives companies. Analyze the corporate and economic relationships between LPL and our Strategic Partners. Interact with internal and external customers to identify, research, and resolve problems in business planning and selling or servicing products. Develop an understanding of how investment offerings and advisory platforms serve different advisor models and clearly articulate how each platform can solve our clients' business needs. Think independently, thrive in a fast-paced team environment, creatively problem solve, and connect various thoughts, observations, and results to develop innovative solutions and new insights that drive an improved partnership experience. Operate in partnership with other teams. This role also requires the candidate to help build and deliver presentations that convey new ideas or complicated data to various audiences within the firm, including senior leadership. Requirements: Bachelor's degree required 5+ years of financial services experience 4+ years investment product/platform experience 4+ years in the investment advisory product landscape, including mutual funds and ETFs Core Competencies: Developing negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship management skills. Ability to interact effectively with internal and external business partners leveraging strong interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver quality outcomes within short timeframes. Energy, enthusiasm, strong work ethic. Strong analytical skills with expert abilities in Excel and strong PowerPoint and presentation skills. Deep understanding of investment products and advisory platforms. Preferences: FINRA Series 7 and 63 Experience working with legal teams and contracting processes. Previous experience in a Sponsor Relations/Strategic Partnership role is a plus. Previous experience with annuities, alternative investments, and/or SMAs is a plus. Pay Range: $79,125-$131,875/year. Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skills, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
