Financial Analyst
Markon is actively seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Intelligence Customer. Responsibilities include: Provide business/financial analysis and consultation support to government client. Coordinate, review and monitor annual spend plans Participate in program meetings and reviews Monitor execution rates and inform management of potential issues Fund contracts, Service Level Agreements and MIPRs Work seamlessly with partner contractors and government personnel at all levels Qualifications include: Minimum of 6 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree OR will consider experience in lieu of a degree preferably with emphasis in providing financial tracking and support for a government customer in areas of Finance Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and have a working knowledge of other Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, etc). Working knowledge of government financial systems (Momentum, Cognos, CAPTURE) Experience in performing programmatic, costs, and schedule sensitivity analyses for multi-million dollars projects. Knowledgeable in the fields of financial monitoring and control, budget execution and government finance and contracting. Ability to perform independent analyses, strategizing, planning, forecasting, and documenting from multiple large data sources. Knowledge of the government budgetary process Portfolio Management experience preferred Salary Range: USD $160,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
