Financial Analyst
Markon is actively seeking a Financial Analyst to support our Intelligence Customer.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide business/financial analysis and consultation support to government client.
- Coordinate, review and monitor annual spend plans
- Participate in program meetings and reviews
- Monitor execution rates and inform management of potential issues
- Fund contracts, Service Level Agreements and MIPRs
- Work seamlessly with partner contractors and government personnel at all levels
Qualifications include:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree OR will consider experience in lieu of a degree preferably with emphasis in providing financial tracking and support for a government customer in areas of Finance
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, and have a working knowledge of other Microsoft applications (Word, PowerPoint, etc).
- Working knowledge of government financial systems (Momentum, Cognos, CAPTURE)
- Experience in performing programmatic, costs, and schedule sensitivity analyses for multi-million dollars projects.
- Knowledgeable in the fields of financial monitoring and control, budget execution and government finance and contracting.
- Ability to perform independent analyses, strategizing, planning, forecasting, and documenting from multiple large data sources.
- Knowledge of the government budgetary process
- Portfolio Management experience preferred
Salary Range: USD $160,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
