Primary Functions: As the Human Resources Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of the HR department while contributing to a positive, compliant, and inclusive workplace. This role spans the full employee life cycle with responsibilities including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, learning and development, HR compliance, and payroll support. Essential Duties And Responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment for assigned distribution center positions, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and offer coordination. Partner with hiring managers to draft job descriptions and create job requisitions. Source and manage candidate pipelines. Track application progress, ensuring effective candidate selection and positive candidate experience. Oversee the onboarding process, including conducting New Hire Orientation, completing background checks, I-9 review, and E-Verify, while ensuring a positive and smooth new hire experience. Employee Relations: Provide guidance on policy interpretation and disciplinary actions, triaging/escalating complex matters appropriately. Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns. Assist with investigations and ensure consistent policy application. Foster positive employee relations and contribute to the development of an inclusive, supportive, and engaging work environment. Performance Management: Assist with the annual performance review process. Coach and support the managers to identify and address performance challenges properly. Projects & Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate across teams to communicate and implement HR initiatives. Provide support to HR Director, Senior HR Manager, and other team members as needed. Perform other duties and assignments as needed. Skills And Qualifications: Strong client-service mindset, with a clear, approachable, and friendly communication approach in both verbal and written. Strong analytical skills, proven ability to execute processes, and a flexible approach to problem-solving. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Solid knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulatory compliance required. Bilingual Chinese preferred. Bilingual Spanish preferred. Education And/or Training: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 3+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources, preferably in the logistics industry or in the distribution center environment. 2+ years of recruiting experience required. Experience with drivers and warehouse positions highly preferred. Prior Experience with onboarding, employee relations, and performance management required. 2+ years of experience using HRIS systems, preferably with Workday. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required. SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
