Electrical Revit Designer
Selectek has an immediate need for an Electrical Revit Designer in the Marietta, GA area. Job Description: Creating efficient, cost-effective commercial, institutional, industrial, healthcare, and/or multifamily facilities design Designing and drafting electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution and building systems Understanding and applying the NEC, NFPA 72, and other codes to electrical system design Performing both interior and exterior lighting designs using ElumTools, Lithonia Visual, or similar lighting software Performing energy code compliance analyses using ComCheck software Coordinating with mechanical, plumbing, and other disciplines Modifying designs following quality control review by senior designers and engineers Required: Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD 1-3+ years of experience in the design and drafting of commercial electrical systems Ability to work independently and as a strong team player Proven ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Self-motivated and looking for expanding responsibility Possess a basic understanding of electrical system theory and apply it to design tasks Ability to use basic electrical formulas to calculate power, current, and other required quantities Preferred: A.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology Sponsorship: No Pay range: $29/hour - $41/hour ($60,000 - $85,000 annual salary) Term of assignment: 6 months temp to direct or possible direct hire Pay method when direct: Hourly Location of job: Marietta, GA Hours and shift: Monday - Thursday (8AM
6PM) and Friday (8AM
