Job Title

Will assist in the development, implementation, and administration of programs to ensure compliance with U.S. Export/Import regulations as outlined by the Department of Commerce Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Department of State International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), and other regulatory agencies. Foreign language skills improve coordination with international partners. Project management supports implementation of new compliance procedures and audits. Required Education/Certifications/Experience: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred. 25 years of experience in trade compliance, logistics, or import/export operations. Certifications such as Certified Export Specialist (CES) or Licensed Customs Broker are advantageous but not mandatory. Key Attributes of Success: Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage documentation and classification. Proactive communicator who can train others and collaborate across departments. Analytical thinker capable of interpreting complex regulations and applying them practically. Adaptable and resourceful, especially when navigating evolving trade laws or urgent shipment issues. Desired/Nice-to-Have Skills: Experience with ACE, AESDirect, and automated screening tools. Familiarity with Maquiladora operations or other cross-border manufacturing environments. Exposure to internal auditing or compliance program development. Knowledge of global trade agreements and free trade zones. Intermediate Level The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
