Data Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in marketing analytics and reporting to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role will focus on transforming data from various digital marketing channels into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Based in Somerville, New Jersey, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize campaign performance and user experience through data-driven solutions. Responsibilities include: Design and manage dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Utilize SQL and Python to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources. Conduct audits of website and organic search health using tools like Screaming Frog. Analyze user behavior through platforms like HotJar to uncover UX insights. Collaborate with teams to define measurement requirements and implement tracking solutions. Develop and maintain scalable LookML models and explore layers in Looker. Provide regular summaries of campaign performance. Automate routine reporting processes. Present complex data findings in visually compelling formats. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field. 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or data reporting roles. Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis. Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Strong understanding of web analytics and SEO tools. Experience with behavioral analysis tools like HotJar. Solid understanding of marketing funnels, attribution models, and digital campaign tracking. Excellent communication skills. Nice to have: Experience with A/B testing frameworks and CRO tools. Familiarity with data warehousing platforms. Certification in Google Analytics, Looker, or Power BI.
