Data Analyst
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in marketing analytics and reporting to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role will focus on transforming data from various digital marketing channels into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Based in Somerville, New Jersey, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize campaign performance and user experience through data-driven solutions. Responsibilities: Design and manage dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to monitor key performance indicators across marketing initiatives. Utilize SQL and Python to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources, including websites and advertising platforms. Conduct audits of website and organic search health using tools like Screaming Frog, identifying opportunities to enhance visibility and traffic. Analyze user behavior through platforms like HotJar to uncover UX insights and recommend actionable improvements. Collaborate with teams to define measurement requirements and implement effective tracking solutions. Develop and maintain scalable LookML models and explore layers in Looker to support self-service reporting. Provide regular summaries of campaign performance, including forecasting models and data analyses, to stakeholders. Automate routine reporting processes to ensure efficient and consistent data delivery. Present complex data findings in visually compelling formats, translating them into practical recommendations for marketing strategies. Requirements: + Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field. + 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or data reporting roles. + Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis. + Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker (LookML experience strongly preferred). + Strong understanding of web analytics and SEO tools including Screaming Frog, ZipTie, Google Analytics, and Search Console. + Experience with behavioral analysis tools like HotJar or similar (e.g., Crazy Egg, FullStory). + Solid understanding of marketing funnels, attribution models, and digital campaign tracking. + Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Have: + Experience with A/B testing frameworks and CRO tools. + Familiarity with data warehousing platforms (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift). + Certification in Google Analytics, Looker, or Power BI.
