Torch Technologies is seeking a Weapons And Tactics Operations Analyst Sme to join a team to assist the 350th Spectrum Warfare Wing (350 sww) at Eglin AFB, Florida. The 350 sww is the technical focal point for all electronic warfare (ew) support of warfighter systems for the combat air forces (caf). The mission of the 350 sww is to develop and test mission data (md) to defeat enemy radar and infrared guided missile systems, thus enhancing aircrew and aircraft survivability in combat. This mission includes operational ew testing, md development/validation/verification, force development evaluation execution and facilitating foreign materiel exploitation. The successful candidate will provide key advisory services to 350 sww leadership in facilitating overall operations across the organization. The position is best suited for individuals experienced with day-to-day operations in usaaf squadron, group and wing organizations, or equivalent sister services. Responsibilities: This position requires a highly motivated individual, to support the below essential duties: Provide expert knowledge including, but not limited to: electronic warfare (ew), multi-domain operations, joint operations, usaaf operations, command and control best practices, joint and usaaf staff processes, technology development and acquisition, system and flight testing, intelligence community (ic) practices, and ew integrated reprogramming (ewir). Serve as subject matter expert for matters involving supporting c4isr system t&e (including force development evaluation (fde), operational utility evaluation (oue), operational assessments (oa), tactics development and evaluation (td&e) activities, advanced concept technology. Provide any academics to support 350 sww led exercises or 350 sww participation in other named exercises (supporting complex to extremely complex programs). Provide strategic technical guidance for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues. Support debrief of materials and after-action reports of any significant wing events, to include accomplishing requisite analysis of operations in said event. Facilitate communication and support wing operations center (woc) tasks during applicable hours. Support exercises or conferences (e.g., annual weapons and tactics conferences or working groups) to include preparatory work and coordination with all interested or tasked parties both within the 350 sww or within stakeholder/supported organizations. Job Requirements Required Qualifications: The candidate will possess a minimum combined 15 years of experience with weapons, c4isr, and test and evaluation. The candidate must also have a demonstrated ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations. Applicants must have a working knowledge of computer systems and an understanding of windows-based personal computers and microsoft office software. The successful candidate will possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and written. An active top secret clearance is required, and the candidate must be eligible for sci. Preferred Qualifications: Highly desirable (but not required) attributes include: operational ew experience on any caf platform, command and control experience, and exercise planning experience. The candidate should be a graduate of the usaaf weapons school or usaaf fighter weapon school. Experience in usaaf operational employment of airpower, or similar combat arms experience is suitable for the position. Previous experience in rf integration, em spectrum management, antenna design, and digital signal processing is desired. Knowledge of ew weapons systems development and systems engineering is also preferred.
