Treasury Associate

The Treasury Associate is a detail-oriented position responsible for supporting the day-to-day treasury operations, including cash reconciliation, deposit tracking, and accurate maintenance of financial records. This role reports directly to the Treasurer and works closely with other treasury team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all cash-related activities across Cavender's multiple entities. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities Support the "Cavender's Culture" and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values. Reconcile daily cash transactions to ensure accuracy of balances across assigned accounts. Balance sales to daily bank deposits and identify any discrepancies for resolution. Assist with disbursements for the Real Estate department and maintain organized records. Enter and track deposits and checks across multiple Cavender's entities. Maintain and update treasury-related spreadsheets and ledgers, including rent, building, and cash tracking. Deliver deposits to financial institutions as needed. Collaborate with Accounts Payable and other departments to ensure accuracy of cash-related postings. Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and treasury reports. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the Treasurer. Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial software. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High level of discretion and attention to detail. Based in Tyler, TX at our Home Office; Tyler area residence. Preferred Skills Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 13 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or treasury operations. Experience with SAP or other accounting/ERP systems is a plus. Familiarity with double-entry accounting and financial reporting. Cavender's is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
