Material Handler
The Material Handler is responsible for the efficient and safe movement, storage, and handling of materials within the facility. This role supports production, shipping, and receiving operations by ensuring materials are properly stocked, tracked, and delivered to the appropriate locations. Material Handler should have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Specific Job Responsibilities Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production areas. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness. Maintain inventory records and assist with cycle counts. Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials. Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding material needs and issues. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. Assist in other warehouse or production tasks as needed. Required Qualifications and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment (certification may be required). Basic math and computer skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Understands and applies all safety and environmental policies and rules.
