Position Specific Description
Team & Scope:
Leading digital and AI transformation initiatives spanning nuclear business processes , specifically focused on work management-related projects and functions. Responsible for building and enhancing internal digital products, continuously adding new capabilities to improve operational efficiency. Partners closely with nuclear site leadership and organizational management to align product delivery with business needs.
Delivery & Technical Expertise
Strong background in IT product delivery, with experience managing both internal development and vendor-partner-based solutions. Leads a combination of solution leaders and project managers, overseeing distributed teams including farshore and nearshore resources. Brings technical depth, enabling effective collaboration across engineering and delivery teams.
Agile Leadership Alignment
Well-suited for a role focused on guiding agile initiatives and coaching teams in Lean-Agile practices. Experienced in managing cross-functional teams and facilitating collaboration between business and delivery units. Demonstrates a strategic mindset and continuous improvement approach, aligning with the organizations Agile transformation goals.
Travel & Location:
Based in Jupiter, FL, with occasional travel to nuclear sites, typically once a month, including Florida, Wisconsin, and New Hampshire locations.
Job Overview
This position guides teams in the execution of agile initiatives to deliver customer value. Employees in this role train and coach in the use of Scrum, Lean, Kanban, XP, and scale agile framework practices.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Trains and coaches leaders, teams, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindset Contributes in Communities of Practice (CoP), within the agile network Promotes and encourages collaboration and transparency and builds trusting relationships between business, delivery, and other entities within the organization Facilitates periodic synchronization meetings across several different onsite and distributed delivery teams Prepares program and release backlogs, as well as team and program objectives Tracks, promotes, and publishes completed program features and program and team objectives Manages risk and dependencies, communicates and escalates impediments to facilitate transparency, and reduces bottlenecks Embraces a continuous improvement mindset, and drives the use of agile engineering best practices and innovation Reports on standardized program-level metrics, and understands, tracks, and operates within the program budget Plays an instrumental role in the organizations Agile transformation, acts as a change agent, and shows strong leadership skills with a positive and collaborative attitude Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Grad / GED Bachelors or Equivalent Experience Experience: 8+ years Supervisor/Management Experience: 2+ years
