Contract Material Handler

The Gogo Contract Material Handler performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods and rejects unsatisfactory items. Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges. Lifts items. Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped. Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks, and distributes merchandise, products, and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing lines. Are you a team player? Cross train in material handling areas enough to support as needed Must be willing to work some weekends and holidays (as needed, on rotation) Ability to bend, lift up to 50 pounds, twist, turn, and crawl in/out of tight spaces and ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time. Will be working in office, lab, and manufacturing environments Maintain AS9100 requirements and certification Assist with physical inventory requirements, and perform cycle counts as required Ensures material movement transactions are completed correctly to maintain inventory accuracy Deliver incoming material to the proper recipient in a timely manner as indicated by shipping information to meet requirements of various projects, manufacturing work, and/or purchase orders/transfer orders. Help keep the warehouse area clean by disposing of empty boxes/trash and general cleanup/organization. Receiving Daily processing of material receipts to ensure PO's/receivers are accurate Deliver incoming material to the proper recipient in a timely manner Process RMA material to ensure that these materials are handled in a timely and correct manner to ensure customer requirements and Failure Analysis requirements are met Shipping Ensure daily shipments of all products are processed in a timely manner to assure on-time shipments and the processed orders are correct and complete Shipping of product to both Domestic and International Customers using UPS, FedEx, and other carriers as required Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, and packing product Stockroom Process completed racks from production and incoming inspection placing material in correct locations/bins Pull production orders (kits) per daily priority list Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory Qualifications 1-3 years of related experience High school diploma or equivalent work experience This will be a 6-month contract to start Required Skills, Talents & Experience Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office software applications Relates well with other people and serves well as a team member Demonstrates solid verbal and written communication skills High attention to details Accountable and dependable Familiar with ISO9000/9001 (AS9100 preferred) requirements Preferred Skills, Talents & Experience APICS Certification a plus Pallet jack and/or Forklift experience is preferred Experience with Agile or Propel PLM and Navision or Business Central ERP systems preferred Equal Pay Disclosure(s) Contract Pay Rate: 17.60 - 22.00 USD Hourly Gogo is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer, working in compliance with both federal and state laws.
