Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled Imaging Tech I with expertise in Cardiac Catheterization procedures. The right candidate must have relevant certifications and a strong understanding of cath lab protocols. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Join our dynamic team in providing exceptional patient care in the realm of Cardiac Imaging. ***Offering $5,000.00 Sign-on Bonus*** Responsibilities: Perform imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety. Operate and maintain imaging equipment while adhering to safety standards and protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care. Maintain inventory and assist in ordering necessary supplies for the department. Capturing high-quality cardiac images Qualifications: A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department is required. High school diploma or equivalent required Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school or a BS or AA degree in Radiologic Technology in an AMA approved school. Cross-training in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography is required. ARRT License (national) required, CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification required. Certification in one modality required. Fire Safety card required. (must obtain within 90 days of start date) This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
