Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A

The Senior Analyst of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) supports strategic decision-making by developing advanced driver-based financial models, conducting revenue and cost of goods sold (COGS) analysis, and delivering actionable insights for management, business unit leadership, and the broader finance team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of FP&A, this role focuses on enhancing forecasting accuracy, developing and maintaining financial models, supporting the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and providing ad-hoc analysis to inform leadership decision making. Additionally, the Senior Analyst of FP&A will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage advanced financial tools, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that drive efficiency. You will: Support the development and maintenance of driver-based financial models for revenue and COGS forecasting, ensuring alignment with operational KPIs and business unit objectives. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and quarterly forecasts, consolidating inputs for assigned business units and cost centers. Enhance existing models to improve accuracy and efficiency, incorporating operational drivers and market trends to support long-term strategic planning. Perform monthly and quarterly variance analysis, comparing actual results to budget and prior year, and provide insights to support strategic decisions. Support FP&A leadership in implementing a quarterly forecasting process to provide guidance and assist with strategic decisions. Collaborate with treasury to align projections with cash flow requirements to improve accuracy and efficiency of the forecasting process. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyze trends, and identify areas for operational efficiency and improvement. Support enterprise-wide initiatives by providing modeling expertise for special projects, scenario analysis, and strategic planning. Provide financial modeling support for special projects, scenario analysis, long-term strategic planning, and investment decisions. Work closely with the FP&A leadership team to ensure alignment between business unit-level insights and company-wide financial objectives. Participate in finance projects, including technology adoption, process optimization, and trend analysis. Provide ad-hoc reporting to support business unit leaders, sales, marketing, and operations with financial insights. Assist in communicating complex financial data in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders. You have: 3-5 years accounting and financial analysis experience. Broad knowledge of accounting and FP&A practices and procedures. Preferred previous experience supporting an annual planning process. Bachelors degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred CPA, MS, or MBA, though not required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and FP&A tools, including but not limited to Adaptive Planning, Alteryx, Incorta, and Power Query. Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large datasets and draw actionable conclusions. Natural curiosity and drive to follow through on complex problems, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and project deadlines. Preferred previous experience with process improvement and change management. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with all levels and functions in the organization. Love Where You Work: We care about your health.
