Labor Foreman
The Labor Foreman performs basic installation of materials on a construction site. Responsibilities
Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew Allocate general and daily responsibilities Supervise and train workers Ensure manpower and resources are adequate Ensure that all safety precautions and quality standards are met Resolve problems when they arise Report on progress to Superintendent Qualifications
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION High school diploma or GED 2+ years of construction experience Or equivalent combination of education and experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES In-depth understanding of construction principles and procedures Ability to read construction drawings Excellent organizational and leadership skills Ability to communicate and report effectively Strong problem solving skills Willingness to work in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations Ability to work in a team environment OSHA 10 hour certified (will assist with obtaining this certification if necessary) Salary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team. For Richmond, VA this ranges from $22.00-$26.00/hour plus benefits and retirement program.
