for a nonprofit company that facilitates equine therapy (horseback riding) for special needs clients in Fullerton, CA.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8 AM- 4:30 PM
Requirements of an HR Assistant: Must have a minimum of 6 months of human resources experience. Experience in billing, invoicing, payment processing, and updating account records. Computer skills with fluency in QuickBooks Online and Google Suite. Familiar with HR principles & payroll. Proven organizational, management & communication skills Prior experience in roles such as Payroll Clerk, Payroll Assistant, Payroll Coordinator, Payroll Administrator, Human Resources Payroll Trainee, Junior Payroll Specialist, Payroll Intern, Payroll Data Entry Clerk, HR Payroll Coordinator, or Accounting Clerk is a plus.

Responsibilities of the HR Assistant: anage office supplies and resources to support daily operations. Coordinate staff and volunteer schedules, including therapy sessions and orientations. Support external communications with riders and their familieshandling phone calls, emails, and follow-up. Assist in administrative fundraising tasks like preparing donor materials, tracking contributions, and acknowledging support. Maintain accurate financial records, including billing, invoicing, and processing payments for programs and donations.
