Job Title: Sr. SAS Data Analyst

Contract (Open to C2H; Sponsorship acceptable if required) Project Summary This role supports the development and maintenance of analytical systems and reporting solutions for large healthcare data environments. The candidate will also support production reporting using SAS and assist in transitioning system changes into production environments. Top 510 Responsibilities Perform SDLC functions including project planning, requirements gathering, coding, testing, and implementation. Work with
SAS
to develop and maintain production reports for
large-volume databases . Extract, cleanse, and prepare data from
various sources
for data warehouse ingestion. Manage
paid and denied healthcare claims
data including diagnosis and procedure codes. Ensure compliance with
HIPAA
standards and data privacy regulations. Utilize
Microsoft Office Suite
and
Visio
to produce documentation, status reports, and communicate with stakeholders. Conduct
oral presentations , lead user training, and facilitate team meetings. Support production change deployments and post-implementation validation. Required Skills & Experience (All required skills need
5 years
of experience unless otherwise noted) Analyst-programmer experience with full SDLC participation. Extensive use of
SAS
in reporting and database analytics. Hands-on experience with
front-end data warehouse processing . Familiarity with
healthcare claims
data (diagnosis codes, procedure codes, etc.). Understanding of
data privacy and regulatory standards
(HIPAA, PHI). Experience working with
Medicaid ,
SSA , or other federal/state welfare programs. Proficiency in
Microsoft Office Suite
and
Visio . Strong oral and written communication skills. Top 3 Key Requirements (Must-Have): 5+ years
