Summary The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management Functional Business Analyst will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and our D365 F&SCM system, ensuring optimal alignment between business processes and technology capabilities. This position will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, documenting processes, providing day-to-day user support, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our Dynamics 365 environment. The role combines business analysis expertise with hands-on user support, requiring direct interaction with end-users to troubleshoot functional issues and optimize their system experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing, warehouse management, and financial business processes, combined with the analytical skills to translate business needs into functional system requirements and the interpersonal skills to effectively support diverse user groups. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Collaborate with business stakeholders across finance, manufacturing, and warehouse operations to gather, document, and analyze functional requirements. Create detailed process maps and workflows for manufacturing, warehouse, and financial operations using standard documentation tools. Provide first-level functional support to end-users experiencing D365 issues with manufacturing orders, warehouse transactions, and financial processes. Troubleshoot system errors, workflow problems, and data discrepancies by analyzing user actions and system configurations. Test D365 F&SCM functionality including production orders, inventory transactions, and financial postings to ensure proper system operation. Validate system configurations against business requirements and document any gaps or improvement needs. Create user-friendly training materials, step-by-step guides, and standard operating procedures for D365 processes. Conduct training sessions for new users and existing staff on system updates, new features, and best practices. Support D365 implementation and enhancement projects by coordinating between technical teams and business users. Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements, review progress, and communicate changes to stakeholders. Performs other duties as assigned. Education/Certification Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Operations Management, or equivalent work experience and/or education Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (MB-900) certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days Business Analysis certification (CCBA, CBAP) or related credentials preferred Experience Minimum 2-3 years of business analysis experience in manufacturing, distribution, or ERP environments Minimum 1-2 years of experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM or similar platforms Experience with business process documentation, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management Familiarity with warehouse management systems and manufacturing operations preferred Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Walking, sitting, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling and lifting may be required throughout the workday.
