Lab Technician
Denver, CO, US, 80223 US Mix Job Summary Responsible for the material handling and preparation for routine testing and for maintenance of assigned laboratory equipment as well as testing products and raw materials as per ASTM to insure compliance and/or to develop new formulas. Job Responsibilities Conduct testing for plant production to include Daily Proportion Check, Weekly Aggregate Gradation and others peculiar to individual products Enter all test results in SharePoint in a timely fashion Share test results with plant supervisor or manager in a timely fashion Analyze test results to determine cause for any production samples that are not within tolerance Assure that all formulas in batch controllers agree with Lawson Assure all lab equipment is in good condition and proper working order Develops familiarity with product formulations and raw materials and performance properties Monitor product test schedule each month to ensure that proper samples are taken Send product or raw material samples to appropriate labs for full testing Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent or comparable Vocational Training/Certification, other related experience Understanding of plant equipment and batching system Proficient in basic math Basic computer skills including data entry Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
