Job SummaryThis position is responsible for providing support to the Operations or Plant Manager in scheduling, inventory and purchasing of raw materials and other supplies as needed.Job Responsibilities Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirementsIssue production schedule(s) to plant(s) to maximize and ensure on-time customer deliveryAdvise on shipping information and delivery dateMaintain line of communication with production and purchasing on material status and production planning issuesWork with Operations or Plant Manager regarding managing inventory levelsParticipate in physical inventoriesOrder and supervises unloading of raw materialsOrder parts and supplies and receives in the Purchasing SystemAssist Operations Manager and EH&S Manager in delivering safety training as neededWill be required to perform other duties as requestedJob Requirements High school diploma / equivalent with some college course work in business preferredKnowledge of business productsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalComputer Skills (Excel, Word)Understanding of Lawson Business SystemAbility to learn product technical informationAbility to multi-task in a fast paced environmentAbility to solve practical problems and deal with changing situationsPosition is exposed to plant environment of dust, noise, fumes, hot and cold temperaturesMust be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a limited basisExtended periods of standing/walking requiredWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsAn inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
