Junior Electrical Communications Engineer

Blacklynx, a Jacobs company, is seeking a talented and motivated Junior Electrical Communications Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Communications Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of satellite and ground systems. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful integration and performance of these systems. Key Responsibilities: Support the development of conceptual designs for ground and space Radio Frequency hardware and software systems. Support the development of RF system, subsystem and unit requirements. Support the development of RF system, subsystem and unit Concept of Operations. Support the development of RF systems, subsystems and unit designs. Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure requitement verification methodology. Support design verification demonstrations. Prepare technical documentation and reports. Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's Degree in EE (Communications Specialty). Knowledge of RF design concepts. Some experience with MATLAB and STK. Interest in spacecraft orbits and attitudes. Interest in communicating and working as part of a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes poorly defined design environment 1 year of experience Preferred Qualifications: US Citizen. Ability to acquire a Security Clearance. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
