Satellite Facility Coordinator Department
Student Life | Recreational Sports Administration The Facility Coordinator-Student Leadership and Development is an integral part of the Student Life Rec Sports team and provides leadership and management for student and graduate staff at the Jesse Owens Recreation Centers (JORC) North and South and The North Recreation Center (NRC) including hiring, training, coaching, evaluation and management; assists with creating a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all facility users; follows up with the appropriate contact based upon facility needs and maintains progress towards completion of issues; promotes the Department Mission/Vision/Values in word, deed and action; abides by the Office of Student Life, and university policies; provides leadership, gives guidance, and promotes good work habits; assists in the oversite of the JORC and NRC student staff budgets; attend mandatory staff meetings and retreats; oversees student staff and graduate assistant; assists with special event preparation; work week to be arranged based on needs of the department. Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in appropriate area or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 2 years GAA experience or one-year professional staff experience. Master's degree; experience in university setting; experience providing program management/training. Additional Information:
