Warranty Claims Representative
provides advanced assistance to customers over the phone or through electronic communication in all aspects of warranty service requests such as dispatching, warranty validation, registration, vendor authorization, service provider recruiting, and other customer-related requests. This position will serve our
Raypak Division , located in
Oxnard, CA . Responsibilities WHAT YOULL DO: Provide verbal and written assistance to customers on product services and general product questions for complex multi-family and/or large-scale commercial projects. Explain and interpret warranty information to customers as they apply to products. Arrange for malfunctioning or defective items to be returned for evaluation. Use computerized systems for tracking requests, troubleshooting problems, assessing inventory, documenting resolutions, and determining warranty eligibility. Coordinate dispatching third-party contractors. Handle a large volume of inbound calls in a call center setting promptly. Identify customer needs, clarify information, research issues, and provide solutions or alternatives. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications WHAT YOULL NEED: High School Diploma or equivalent. 3+ years of call center customer service experience in the insurance/manufacturing industry. Data entry skills. Ability to follow instructions in written, oral, or diagram form. Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant software. Ability to work well in a team environment. How To Stand Out Ability to read, write, and understand technical instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Support for multiple products and prioritize projects. Experience with CRM and ERP systems. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. The pay rate is $24.00/hour. Final offers depend on experience, location, and other factors.
