Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is looking for a Room Service Coordinator who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience. This position reports to the In Room Dining Manager. U.S. work authorization is required for this position. Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is located in the heart of downtown Seattle, with the Seattle Art Museum on one side, iconic Pike Place Market on another and the waters of Elliott Bay gleaming to the west. Key elements of the job include: Answering telephone using courteous, efficient telephone etiquette while obtaining all information necessary to process the guest's order according to Four Seasons Standards Describing the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item's origin, taste, and preparation methods Communicating guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel's point-of-sales system; checking completed kitchen orders with the guest's original order; coordinating delivery of items to the guestroom by Room Service Servers in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality Properly and accurately closing amenity and guest checks; recording guest charges and gratuities Anticipating guest needs, ascertaining satisfaction, and offering suggestions, and responding urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests Compiling, coordinating and reconciling amenity delivery by ensuring that all requests are received, filed, ordered from kitchen and delivered in a prompt and accurate fashion and billed accurately thereafter Ensuring all BEO's and pre-orders are communicated with staff and kitchen Collaborating with Room Service Servers to ensure guest requests, amenities, private bar refills are all prioritized and completed Preferred qualifications and skills include: Previous exposure to Hotel Operating Systems (Opera, Micros POS and HotSOS systems preferred) Previous experience in office/event coordination or relatable experience Strong communication and multi-tasking Ability to smoothly navigate between engaging guests and handling complex administrative tasks Food Handler's Permit and Mixologist Permit What to expect from your work experience...
