(100% REMOTE) GOV-CON Financial Analyst

The Program Finance Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting customer programs, focusing on the daily execution of production and engineering development initiatives. This position involves providing financial guidance to Program Managers and Finance Leadership in areas such as program cost analysis, cost estimating, cash flow monitoring, gross margin analysis, and variance analysis/reporting. Responsibilities

Maintain program accuracy with timely revenue recognition, invoicing, cost management, funding oversight, gross margins, cash flow monitoring, and risk assessment. Monitor costs weekly, ensuring actuals remain within budget and are correctly charged to appropriate cost accounts. Support the generation of monthly financial status reports, monthly/quarterly Estimate at Completes (EACs), funding tracking reports, and internal financial reporting, while ensuring timely invoice submission to customers. Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), time-phased budgets and schedules, Estimate to Completes (ETCs), and conduct analyses and interpretations. Serve as a proposal pricing analyst, providing cost analysis and Earned Value Management System support to Program Managers and Control Account Managers (CAMs). Prepare financial contracts data requirements list (CDRLs) for timely delivery. Collaborate with the program team to develop and maintain schedule requirements, including necessary updates. Prepare internal program review presentations for management. Essential Skills

Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting. 3+ years of experience in the defense industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and database analysis), Word, and PowerPoint. 2+ years of experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle, and familiarity with downloading data from ERP to Excel for analysis. Ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Additional Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of experience with government accounting processes. Experience with Propricer (proposal software) is preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proven team leadership skills with strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities. Capability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Experience with Oracle ERP and COBRA is a plus. Work Environment

This position offers a fully remote work opportunity, primarily located in Northern Virginia. The team operates on a schedule of nine-hour days with every other Friday off, fostering a strong, close-knit culture. The role supports two Department of Defense programs and involves collaborating with a team of four other individuals, each responsible for their own portfolio of programs. The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $50.48/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
