Assistant Director Of Support Services
The Assistant Director Of Support Services Is Responsible For Planning, Implementing, Operating, And Evaluating All Activities Related To Clinical Support Services, Including But Not Limited To Areas Of Admission, Front Desk/Scheduling, Medical Records, And Ensuring Great Customer Service Is Provided To All Who Walk Through Ozark Center's Doors. The Assistant Director Provides Services To Individuals Impacted By A Variety Of Behavioral Health (Addiction/Substance Use And Mental Health) Issues, Recognizing That The Individuals Served Often Times Have Experienced Trauma That Affects Their Development And Adjustment. The Assistant Director Demonstrates A Warm And Welcoming Empathic, Hopeful Attitude, Conveying A Philosophy Of Dual Recovery. The Assistant Director Will Be Trained In Trauma-Informed Care And Will Work To Help Provide Services In An Environment That Is Sensitive And Responsive Which Will Prevent Victimization, Abuse, Or Trauma As A Result Of The Care Received. The Assistant Director Of Support Services Reports Directly To The Director Of Operations. Education: Bachelor's degree in a business-related field and three (3) years supervisory experience, OR Five (5) years' experience in a related field, OR Any appropriate combination of education and experience. Work Experiences: Three (3) years supervisory experience and/or five (5) years' experience in a related field. Responsibilities: Provide leadership to staff members to include problem solving within the Department, delegate appropriate tasks, and promote communication and interdepartmental relationships. Develop annual goals to support the overall strategic plan and budget of Ozark Center. Establish training programs and ensure continuous training, education and support to staff members. Monitor employee satisfaction/retention. Review and recommend additions, deletions, or changes to policies/procedures and forms as they relate to areas of supervision. Participate in process and quality improvement initiatives of the Center. Assist in resolution of client or staff complaints effectively and efficiently. Perform all other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: Ability to adapt to periodic environmental changes in a normal office environment. Typical physical demands include prolonged sitting, frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator, and other office equipment as needed. Ability to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular, unscheduled hours. Ability to deal with complaints. Travel to outlying offices or other campuses as well as education seminars. TB test upon hire.
