The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and consultant to designated departments within the credit union. This role is responsible for aligning business objectives with people strategies, fostering a positive workplace culture, and driving organizational effectiveness. The HRBP will collaborate with leadership to implement HR initiatives that support employee engagement, performance, and development.

Strategic Partnership

Align HR strategies with business goals to support departmental success. Build strong relationships with leaders to understand operational needs and workforce planning. Provide guidance on organizational design, change management, and succession planning. Employee Relations & Culture

Act as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR-related matters. Address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts with fairness and consistency. Champion a respectful, inclusive, and values-driven workplace culture. Talent Management & Development

Support performance management processes, including coaching, feedback, and reviews. Facilitate career development and training initiatives for Management . Partner with managers to identify high-potential talent and create growth pathways. HR Operations & Compliance

Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, including exit interviews and trend analysis. Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and procedures. Respond to unemployment claims and manage sensitive employee issues. Recruitment Support -

Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.

Experience : 8+ years in HR, with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP or senior HR leadership role.

Skills :

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking Excellent communication and influence skills Proficiency in HRIS and data analytics tools Deep understanding of employment law and compliance
