Join our team at Florida Parishes Human Services Authority as a Professional Counselor and provide clinical assessment and treatment to clients in our inpatient, 24-hour residential facility. This facility is an ASAM Level III.5 Adult Clinically Managed High Intensity, residential substance use treatment program, located in Mandeville, Louisiana. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) plus two years of counseling experience. Job Duties and Other Information As a Professional Counselor, you will be instrumental in providing clinical assessment and treatment of clients admitted to the inpatient residential substance use treatment facility. Your role will be to: Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, screenings, treatment/counseling via individual/family/group therapies; Provide discharge plans for patients and families, as needed; Work on an interdisciplinary treatment team in order to provide thorough and comprehensive care; Make recommendations for treatment plans and assist in formulating therapeutic activities; Attend annual and PRN trainings and webinars to improve competency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of substance use disorders Position-Specific Details Appointment Type:
