Safran Cabin Sealant Operator
Builds aircraft 787 structures carbon fiber parts using resins and epoxies using engineering drawings, company and customer specifications. Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience: 0-3 years. Computer Skills: Must be able to understand and use Microsoft Office products. Other Skills: Ability to read and understand manufacturing orders. Description: Entry level. Accurately builds parts using resins and epoxies. Adheres to company specifications, work instructions, and work orders. Seals parts per manufacturing order or Static PWO as required per current revision. Properly maintains and identifies defects in parts and report any findings to supervisor or QA. Document the materials used in the process to maintain traceability. Safely handles various regulated materials used in the process. Part Marks according to engineering drawings, company and customer specifications. Works toward the end of the assembly line. Organizes completed parts and paperwork. Creates shipping paperwork, "Shipper". Submits Shipper to indicate part is ready for shipping and invoicing. Moves Shipper and part to Shipping Department. Assists Shipping Department as necessary to prepare packing of part. General Notes: o Must carefully handle detail parts and manufactured parts to ensure the integrity and quality is not damaged by handling. o All employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of Safran products. o As business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future. o Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division.
