Quality Systems SQF Coordinator

***Must have previous experience in the Food and Beverage industry and be SQF Certified.*** MUST HAVE 12 years of experience in Quality Systems Management (HACCP, SQF, BRC, FSSC, ISO). Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement. Certifications: SQF, HACCP, PQCI. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred. Experience that demonstrates ability to be a team player, good time management, process improvement and work independently. Effective use of time management and organizational skills Detail oriented with an ability to prioritize in a fast-paced production environment. Self-starter and able to effectively and efficiently complete tasks without close supervision. Strong understanding of quality assurance systems and processes within a food manufacturing environment Proficient in the use of standard computer software, i.e., Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Excellent interpersonal skills: professional, courteous, friendly, empathetic. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Key Responsibilities: Assist the QA Manager in preparing for and obtaining annual SQF certification. Coordinate and verify implementation of SQF programs and ensure compliance with FDA regulations. Validate the effectiveness of food safety plans (HACCP, FDA Preventive Controls). Oversee pre-requisite programs: GMPs, pest control, sanitation, equipment calibration, etc. Maintain documentation and databases for packaging, ingredients, and finished products. Train team members on SQF, HACCP, GMP, SOPs, and food safety/quality standards. Conduct random audits and observations to ensure compliance. Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
