Recruiting Specialist
The Recruiting Specialist reports directly to the Managing Director of Human Resources and is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for technical, project management, consulting and operations roles within the organization. This position plays a key role in supporting the company's strategic growth by sourcing and hiring top talent in the technology consulting space, with a focus on the utilities industry. This position will collaborate closely with hiring managers and leadership to ensure a seamless and effective hiring process. The Recruiting Specialist position is an exempt position, classified under the administrative exemption, in accordance with the Fair Labor and Standards Act (FLSA). It is not a supervisory position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and develop recruitment strategies for employees and contractors. Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of roles, including technical, project management, consulting and operations positions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). Coordinate and schedule interviews, gather feedback, and facilitate decision-making processes both internally and with candidates. Manage job postings across internal and external platforms. Work within budget requirements and engage in salary negotiations when applicable. Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication and professional engagement. Monitor and report on recruitment metrics and KPIs. Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal policies. Support employer branding initiatives; may represent the company at career fairs and networking events. Work closely with the Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Generalist to assist with the onboarding process. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management and prioritization skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Proven ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's applicant tracking system. Ability to work with individuals at all levels of an organization. Ability to work within a fast-paced environment. Strong business acumen. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field required. At least three years of recruiting experience is required. Experience working within a professional services organization required. Experience working within a consulting environment preferred. Experience working within an organization that sponsors employee visas is a plus.
