Join the St. John's Regional Medical Center Dietary team and make a difference in the lives of our patients! As a Nutrition Assistant I, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality nutritional care. You will: Assist in preparing nutritious and appealing meals, including portioning, plating, and serving. Follow standardized recipes and dietary guidelines to meet patient needs. Maintain a spotless and sanitary work environment, adhering to strict safety and hygiene standards. Assist with food inventory management and ordering to ensure adequate supplies. Provide exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, addressing their dietary inquiries and needs. Collaborate closely with the Registered Dietitian and other dietary staff to ensure seamless meal service. Assist with preparing meals for patients with special dietary requirements, such as allergies, intolerances, and therapeutic diets. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to meal preparation and service. Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance your knowledge of nutrition and best practices. Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience. This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
