Travelling Electrical Foreman
We are seeking a skilled Foreman to lead crews on panel change-out projects across the United States. Each project typically lasts between one to two months. The Foreman will be responsible for driving daily site performance, ensuring safety, and maintaining data accountability for Technical Services projects. Responsibilities
Serve as the on-site authority for project execution, supervising all field activities from mobilization to closeout. Lead daily tailgate meetings, confirm labor presence, and align subcontractor crews to the scheduled scope. Maintain strict adherence to project safety protocols, including LOTO, arc flash, and energized work procedures. Ensure compliance with the SOW, drawings, and construction standards, flagging deviations early and escalating as needed. Collect, track, and report daily production metrics, including repair counts, energy restored, and parts consumed. Provide real-time field reports, photo documentation, crew headcounts, and summary logs. Coordinate with project managers and QA coordinators to manage tools, logistics, and lift plans. Update client-facing tracking tools daily or weekly, ensuring data integrity and transparency. Work closely with Procurement or Admin to request parts, flag shortages, and support timely reorders. Coach and mentor internal techs and lead hands to uphold standards and prepare them for future leadership. Represent the organization with professionalism and clarity in all client or third-party engagements. Essential Skills
5+ years of construction field experience in solar, utility, or general electrical trades. 2+ years of experience supervising subcontractors or field teams on active construction sites. Proven ability to manage production while maintaining detailed documentation and reporting. Comfortable using Excel, mobile reporting tools, and email to track and communicate field progress. Able to interpret project drawings, scopes of work, and field documentation requirements. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel extensively and remain on-site for extended durations. OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain). Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in solar repowering, module replacements, corrective inverter work, or tracker retrofits. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plus. Familiarity with daily reporting tools such as Salesforce, GoCanvas, or Excel-based trackers. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
