Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, is excited to announce a part-time opportunity for the position of OPS Adult Education Recruitment Specialist with Adult Education Department; Division of Workforce Development. We are seeking a dedicated professional who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace community. What You'll Do: As OPS Adult Education Recruitment Specialist, you will have the chance to work inside TSC's Adult Education (AE) Department. The AE Department provides a range of instructional programs that help adults get the basic skills they need to be productive workers, family members, and citizens. The primary program areas are Adult Basic Education (ABE), GED Preparation, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). The Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for recruiting new students for the Department in the tri county area of Adult Education services; Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla Counties. The day-to-day responsibilities will include: Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enable student referrals and recruitment; assist with the distribution of marketing materials (print, social media, website, etc.); follow-up with potential students via phone or email; develop and conduct presentations at community events; assist students with applying and registering to the College; track recruitment efforts to determine best practices. Must have reliable transportation in the tri-county area (Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla Counties). Preference will be given to candidates that are bilingual (Spanish).
