Interim Nurse Educator, Critical Care Needed
The position requires an interim nurse educator, critical care to provide supplemental education with a focus on general orientation, BLS/CPR, and critical care training. Reporting to the program director, this leader will collaborate with education teams across multiple campuses. Key responsibilities include delivering classroom-based and limited bedside education and supporting both general and critical care education needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in both classroom and clinical teaching, strong influence and coaching abilities with seasoned staff, and proven change management skills. Must be highly organized, patient-focused, and able to adapt quickly to changing needs. Excellent communication skills will be critical. Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance. Requirements include a bachelor's degree and MSN required. Current New York RN license required. Critical care registered nurse (CCRN) certification preferred. Previous experience in critical care and nurse education is required. Compensation details include a compensation range of $150,000 to $155,000 annually. The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with fair market value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits. The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
