CNC Machine Operator
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator who is proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, working with G & M codes, and capable of making offset adjustments on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting the X and Y zero points, ensuring safety during start-up procedures, and working with Fanuc and/or Siemens controls. This role involves setting up and tearing down materials on vertical mills, using 6" scales, calipers, and go-no/go gages, and documenting daily activities efficiently. Responsibilities
Read and understand blueprints. Operation of CNC machines. Make offset adjustments and set the X and Y zero points daily. Ensure safety during start-up procedures. Operate Fanuc and/or Siemens controls. Set up and tear down materials on vertical mills. Utilize 6" scales, calipers, and go-no/go gages. Document daily activities effectively. Prioritize tasks, especially when machines break down. Wear required PPE at all times. Essential Skills
Proficiency in blueprint reading. Experience with lathe and machining operations. Ability to perform inspections. Minimum of 2 years of machine operation experience. Ability to do offsets and setups. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
