who act as core thought partners to senior leadershipsolving ambiguous, high-impact problems that span operational efficiency, customer experience, and growth strategy. You will bring a structured, hypothesis-driven approach to complex, unstructured business challenges; develop workplans and quantitative models; translate data into actionable insight; and communicate recommendations with exceptional clarity and influence. You will take the role of Player-Coach where you will be expected to lead teams while also owning strategic insights projects. In this role, you will: Manage and lead a team of highly technical and analytical Managers and Senior Managers. Player-coach managing the team but also running your own projects Engage and influence key stakeholders and leaders across Expedia Group to get buy in on the analytics and insights and ensure that the insights translate into results Problem Structuring & Analysis: Break down open-ended business questions into structured, solvable components; define analytical approaches and workplans. Strategic Insight Generation: Design and execute analyses to uncover root causes, performance drivers, and opportunities across operations, customer experience, and cost. Actionable Recommendations: Synthesize insights into strategic recommendations with clear implementation pathways; partner with cross-functional leaders to drive adoption. You can influence and drive results with cross-functional partners (especially Product, Data Science, Engineering, Marketing and various Category teams) Results-oriented with a proven track record of leadership and taking ownership to produce exceptional results Executive Communication: Develop concise, compelling presentations and deliver findings to VP- and C-level stakeholders. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a strategic thought partner to leaders across Ops, Product, and Data; help prioritize initiatives and inform roadmap decisions. Experience and Qualification: 10 years total experience, ideally 5 at a top-tier strategy consulting firm Experience leading large cross-functional projects and high-performing teams Exceptional structured thinking and problem-solving abilities Strong command of analytics; fluency in Excel and/or SQL (experience with Looker, Tableau, or Python is a plus) Track record of driving clarity and action in ambiguous environments Polished executive communication, both written and verbal Strong bias for action and outcomes, not just analysis Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree a plus
